This role can be found in many different industries to include construction, IT, services, new products, etc. The role of the Project Manager is essentially to lead the project and be responsible for meeting the project objectives within the constraints of cost, schedule and scope (Triple Constraint). Specifically they will: 1. Gain approval for initiation of the project through a Project Charter 2. Managing the Project Team 3. Scoping the project 4. Reporting Progress to various stakeholders 5. Scope breakdown, resource planning and scheduling. 6. Managing and Maintaining the schedule 7. Costing and Budget Preparation 8. QA/QC Plan and Execution 9. Risk Management 10. Safety 11.
