RE: Cross-Functional Integration in NPD projects
Good luck with your research project Danil. I personally took the survey and look forward to seeing your results. Cross functional teams can be productive or destructive to the success of product development efforts. I believe that all functions must be held accountable for results and driven by someone who has incentive to see the project succeed. Sometimes product development is lead by an R&D group that handles multiple projects at once and too much effort is made by stake holders to get their project worked on. If the team is lead by a stake holder, things tend to move more efficiently.
